How to get more bandwidth (Wed July 16, 2008 11:58 am)
First, I've optimized this function, but can not pronounce because I LAN.
Step 1: Click the Start button and select Run
Step 2: In the dialog box write gpedit.msc, and then click OK
Step 3: This opens a window that gives you double-click on Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> Qos Packet Scheduler.
Step 4: Dublu click on Limit reservable bandwidth.
Step 5: Now, will appear Not Configured, but the fact is factory configured to 20%. Click on Enable and put 5 in the box below, then click OK
WARNING: This setting will have the desired effect only if you install QoS Packet Scheduler.
To see whether you have that option installed, right click on My Network Places, which is found on the desktop (if do not have My Network Places on the desktop, right click on Desktop, choose Properties. Now, in the Desktop tab the window, click on the Customize Desktop button, and check the appropriate box in My Network Places. Then OK and Apply), and choose Properties. In the window open, right click the Local Area conection, and and select Properties. In the General tab you all protocols and services that are installed on your computer. Usually, the typical Internet settings from the operating system installation includes besides TCP / IP, Qos and a customer service, Microsoft Networks |
